Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 September 2026
Your privacy matters to us
Praepara is designed to support your personal preparation before the Sacrament of Reconciliation in a simple, private space. Notes you create while using the app belong to you.
01 · Your notes
Your notes are kept only on your device
Personal notes and preparation answers you write in Praepara are stored on your device. They are not tied to an account and we do not read them.
02 · Account and cloud
You do not need to create an account
Using Praepara does not require a name, an email address, or any other user account. Personal notes are not stored in the cloud, synced to another device, or sent to our servers.
03 · Our approach to data
There is no advertising or tracking
Praepara does not use your personal notes for advertising. It is not designed to build an ad profile, to track behavior, or to share personal data with analytics services.
The app’s core functions do not need your personal content to be sent to servers. Technical logs of the operating system or the app store follow that provider’s own privacy policy.
04 · Purchases
Payments run through the store
Purchases inside Praepara are carried out by the app store you use. We do not see or keep your payment details. The full card is a yearly $2.99 subscription that begins with a 1-week free trial; when the trial ends, payment is taken automatically. Purchase, refund, auto-renewal, and cancellation follow Apple App Store or the relevant store’s own terms.
05 · You remain in control
You manage your notes
If you remove the app or its data from the device, local content on the device may also be deleted according to the operating system. If a note matters to you, we suggest keeping it only by a secure method you choose yourself.
